About the Opportunity

Are you experienced at building social media campaigns that boost engagement with a variety of stakeholders across an organization? Are you savvy and equally experienced with using various tracking and reporting tools? Our Marketing team is looking to bring on board someone with these talents—and more—to coordinate the firm’s inbound marketing, social media communication, and native advertising efforts.
Reporting to the senior manager of media relations, this is an outstanding opportunity to take a leading role as the firm increases its inbound marketing initiatives and expands its social media practices that are best-in-class within our regulated industry. Your inbound responsibilities would run the gamut from project management of regular blog posts, associated offers, and e-mail lead-nurturing campaigns; results analysis and reporting; and keyword research and SEO refinement. Social media responsibilities would include managing the firm’s presence on all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) and social sharing platforms (SoundCloud, Vimeo, YouTube), from content creation to implementation and reporting. Finally, your Internet marketing responsibilities would have you managing the delivery of native advertising to our trade publications.

  • Coordinating the creation and implementation of inbound marketing programs to increase awareness of the firm’s subject matter expertise and to engage and nurture qualified leads for recruiting
  • Working with Editorial and Creative to develop content that builds brand awareness, generates traffic, and engages our target market across all social media channels
  • Managing all social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and social sharing platforms (SoundCloud, Vimeo, YouTube) from content creation to implementation and reporting
  • Managing all social media advertising
  • Monitoring social media conversations and coordinating with Marketing, Recruiting, and Compliance to respond to questions and comments posted
  • Conducting social media landscape research to benchmark the firm’s activities versus those of competitors on an ongoing basis; consulting with senior members of the company to offer social media best practices
  • Analyzing inbound and social media data to develop KPIs for the firm’s efforts, identify opportunities, and assess the effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Coordinating updates of the company’s public website content and blogs as required
  • Keeping abreast of new developments in SEM/SEO and making recommendations for changes and improvements


  • College degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 4 years of experience building social media campaigns to improve engagement with multiple stakeholders across an organization
  • 4 years of experience with tracking and reporting tools for keyword and link research, content development, and key metric monitoring
  • Knowledge or experience in financial services businesses a plus
  • Experience using HubSpot (or similar inbound marketing platform) and Google Analytics
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Independent self-starter; ability to interact with a cross-functional team across all levels of the firm
