Professional development is one of Commonwealth’s core values—and we wholeheartedly believe in providing that support to everyone who walks in our door. Since 1999, we have been welcoming summer interns into our Anything but Common® community, providing career-building skills and experiences designed to set you up for success.
Over the years, the program has evolved and become significantly more competitive. We receive hundreds of applicants for 20 to 30 summer internship opportunities each summer. These positions are scattered throughout the company in a variety of departments, including but not limited to:
No coffee fetchers here!
We bring on an intern only if a manager identifies an authentic need and commits to overseeing your professional development. Our interns do real work that adds value to the organization, which, in turn, helps you learn and grow.
We squeeze in a lot over those few summer months. The program includes a three-day orientation, professional development classes, various networking opportunities and company events, contact with senior leadership, a group giving back initiative, and a Shark Tank-style project experience. (Fun is one of our core values, too.)
Are you in?
Along with your resume, please include a cover letter (required) to help us understand your interest in a Commonwealth summer internship. We encourage you to note specific department(s) of interest in your cover letter but cannot guarantee it is where you will be placed—or even interview. We do, however, promise you will learn a lot, no matter where in the organization you land.
A great workplace—and a rewarding internship or job—is about so much more than the day-to-day tasks. If you have a positive, can-do, all-in attitude and are open to broadening your horizons, a Commonwealth internship just might be the right fit for you.
The fine print
After you submit your application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. If you experience technical issues when applying, please e-mail Intern-CoopProgram@Commonwealth.com.
Due to the high volume of resumes we receive, it is not possible for us to personally respond to every applicant. If we feel you are a good match for one of our internship positions, we will be in touch.
