About the Opportunity

If you’re a highly detailed, organized, self-motivated individual who’s a team player with a can-do attitude, keep reading. Our Compensation team is looking for a customer service expert with top-notch problem-solving and multitasking skills. In addition to working with other departments to resolve issues and maintain important compensation information, you’ll be keeping track of revenue and processing payments, so a passion for accuracy and numbers is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Entering daily totals for all revenue received with near-perfect accuracy
  • Processing bimonthly revenue payments to advisors for equity, insurance, and advisory compensation
  • Generating revenue statements and checks
  • Facilitating direct deposits
  • Coordinating mailing and overnight deliveries of the statements
  • Managing and maintaining various other compensation information
  • Collaborating with other departments within the firm as well as fund companies to research and resolve inquiries submitted via web, phone, fax, or e-mail
  • Performing special projects and tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office basics (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to quickly learn other Windows-based software
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Patience for repetitive duties and data entry
  • Attention to detail that stands out as a top skill
  • An eye for process improvements and a passion for quality assurance
  • Ability to solve problems in an efficient and professional manner
  • Exemplary phone skills
  • Ability to work well in both team and individual atmospheres
  • College degree or equivalent professional experience a must
  • Accounting or financial services operations experience preferred
  • 2–3 years of customer service experience preferred
