About the Opportunity

Are you a natural when it comes to troubleshooting and fixing code? Do you take pride in your communication and customer service skills? If so, and you have at least a year or two of programming experience in ASP.NET under your belt, then you might be a great fit for the support engineer opportunity on our Development team.
 
Our tight-knit Development team builds and maintains a large private website, COMMunity LinkÒ, which helps more than 1,710 small business owners manage their daily lives. It is built primarily using Microsoft technologies, including .NET and SQL Server. We also have a public-facing site and mobile versions of our tools. Our development approach has always been Agile, and we recently revamped our team structure based on Scrum.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues in our web application code
  • Interacting with our Technology HelpDesk to resolve problems and communicate status
  • Participating as a developer on projects as needed
  • Assisting with deployment of builds to production and QA environments

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of programming experience in ASP.NET (C# or VB.NET)
  • Knowledge of client-side languages or libraries like jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, or related technologies
  • Familiarity with MVC, Angular 2, and TFS, including Release Management, is a plus
  • Some knowledge of SQL/relational databases and reporting tools such as SSRS
  • Positive attitude and ability to provide great customer service
  • Willingness to learn and pitch in to get things done
