About the Opportunity

We are looking for a customer service-oriented individual to join our Data Integrity department, which supports advisors as they use our Client360°®, Practice360°®, and Investor360°® tools. These applications allow users to view—on a household, group of accounts, or single-account basis—a client’s portfolio, including balances, holdings, transaction activity, performance returns, and statements and confirms. They also offer more than 50 reports that can be run and manipulated on demand. This individual will act as a lifeline for advisors as they make use of these tools, reports, and statements to service their clients.

The Data Integrity department is also responsible for maintaining Commonwealth’s proprietary performance reporting application, Preferred Portfolio Services® (PPS), which involves troubleshooting issues that may arise and conferring with the Technology department when necessary. It also includes research with direct product sponsors and other companies that transfer data to Commonwealth.
Think you have what it takes? Then let’s talk.

  • Supporting the advisor experience in Client360° and Practice360° and the client experience in Investor360° through the Data Integrity phone queue, e-mails, and casework
  • Maintaining and analyzing account information received from direct product sponsor companies for advisors and clients to view in Client360°
  • Troubleshooting data issues related to client account and sponsor company information as they arise
  • Learning the basic functions of all Data Integrity team operations
  • Using investigative and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborating with other Operations departments and the Technology team for quick and accurate resolutions
  • Upholding Commonwealth’s legacy of providing indispensable service to our advisors

  • Superb attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to think outside the box
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Confident, team-oriented, resourceful self-starter
  • 1–2 years of customer service experience and/or phone skills required
  • Experience with other portfolio reporting systems a plus (e.g., Advent, dbCams, Albridge, Centerpiece)
  • Financial services back-office operations experience a plus
  • FINRA Series 7 securities registration a plus

Please note: The hours for this position, based in our Waltham office, will be 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. ET (flexible) for the initial three- to six-month training period. After the training period, the hours will be 10:30 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. ET (flexible) to be more compatible with our West Coast office needs. This position includes the option of moving to our San Diego office after six months.

Have we piqued your curiosity? Can you see yourself thriving in this career opportunity as well as our Anything but Common® workplace culture? If so—and if your background and experience align with our needs—please submit your application right away.
