About the Opportunity

Our Finance department is seeking a capable and qualified senior information technology internal auditor with technology audit and risk management experience to handle internal IT audits. Reporting to the internal audit manager, you would be responsible for the timely execution of high-quality audits using a risk-based audit methodology across a broad range of areas, including infrastructure, information security, business application systems, network engineering, programming, and business continuity.   • Planning and executing information technology and integrated audits
  • Analyzing data and processes for possible noncompliance with corporate policies, as well as for opportunities to improve efficiency and adherence to best practices
  • Documenting testing in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with IIA and department standards
  • Creating and updating control narratives and process flow diagrams
  • Maintaining open and timely communication within the department and across the organization
  • Communicating audit findings and related recommendations, verbally and in writing, to various levels of department and company management
  • Performing follow-up testing as necessary to ensure that management has taken the appropriate actions to remediate identified issues
  • Assisting in the development of audit department policies and procedures
  • Helping with the coordination of external audits as necessary


  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, information security, computer science, or a comparable field
  • At least 3 years of experience in external and/or internal auditing
  • Working knowledge of security and technology frameworks
  • A demonstrated understanding of the company’s business and technologies
  • Related professional certification (CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Willingness to be part of a team, as well as an individual contributor
  • Investigative and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Self-starter and independent worker
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
