    About the Opportunity

    Are you a creative and open-minded problem-solver with effective time-management and communication skills? We are looking for an operations-savvy team member with these qualities—and more—to serve as a liaison between our internal clients and Technology.
     
    In this highly collaborative position, you will be adding value to our projects by strategizing on the best approach and deliverable, helping to move projects through the pipeline from the idea phase to successful rollout. You will also be responsible for researching and documenting new project ideas, maintaining the Operations project list, and updating systems to reflect changing priorities accordingly. As your experience and expertise grow, you may begin running some of these projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining a project prioritization list for all of the IT projects within Operations
    • Researching and developing project overview statements for all ideas and potential projects that are presented within Operations
    • Responding to and logging advisor feedback
    • Contributing to collaboration sessions on the next iteration of some larger products
    • Providing business testing support for Operations products
    • Serving as an IT liaison between internal clients and Technology for web update projects; potentially working on additional projects as the need arises

    Qualifications

    • College degree, as well as 2+ years of experience in operations; experience with multiple Operations departments a plus
    • A demonstrated understanding of SharePoint, Excel, web, and database systems; familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology a plus
    • Knowledge of operational workflows and products
    • Strong creative-thinking skills to evaluate problems from different perspectives while keeping an open mind
    • Ability to consistently provide a high level of attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills—both written and oral; able to persuade diplomatically
    • Effective time-management and organizational skills
    • Able to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of the organization
    • Self-motivated
