  • Overview

    Bring your project coordination expertise to our PMO team and support the delivery of projects and programs that allow Commonwealth to execute its strategic goals. Working with project sponsors, you will be responsible for facilitating the demand-management process, ensuring the quality of project inventory data, and developing reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for using project management techniques to manage multiple small and medium projects.


    Key responsibilities 

    • Helping to identify, qualify, and submit project requests as part of our demand-management process
    • Reviewing the project’s inventory on an ongoing basis and ensuring data quality
    • Developing custom reports in the project’s system for departments
    • Developing project plans at the task, milestone, and resource level
    • Ensuring collaboration and communication among stakeholders
    • Tracking project against plan—anticipating events that may require a contingency plan, recommending corrective action


    Core strengths 

    • 2+ years of project management experience/education
    • Experience working independently, as well as in a team-oriented collaborative environment
    • Strong, clear communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Excellent organization skills and an eye for detail
    • A background in financial services
    • Experience with Agile projects would be a plus
