    Do you want to put your experience in financial services recruiting and self-motivated nature to good use? Our successful, driven, and fun Field Development and Transition team is looking for a field development consultant to initiate and foster relationships with prospective Commonwealth advisors in our target market. In this highly visible position, you will embrace our firm’s Anything but Common® philosophy and steadfast dedication to providing indispensable service. Our goal of 100-percent satisfaction for our advisors means that everyone in our home office is driven to do whatever it takes to help them be their best every day.


    Key responsibilities 

    • Proactively reaching out to prospective Commonwealth advisors, providing them with information about the firm, and evaluating for fit
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with these well-suited prospects; ensuring that the Commonwealth name and reputation are front of mind when considering a new broker/dealer
    • Suggesting creative new ways for our team to improve its recruitment approaches
    • Responding to inbound inquiries and requests for proposal
    • Coordinating and hosting advisor visits to our home office and traveling to prospective advisors’ offices


    Core strengths 

    • At least 5 years of experience in the financial services recruiting industry with either direct broker/dealer recruiting experience or sales experience
    • Self-starter who is motivated to fill pipeline with quality prospects
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent listening and probing skills
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to excel in a team environment
    • FINRA Series 7 securities registration preferred
    • Experience with CRM software
    • Ability to travel 20 percent of the time
