    Our 13-person Conferences and Events team is looking for a coordinator to share in our passion for creating signature events. As a coordinator, you will help plan and host our firm’s educational and invitational conferences, as well as special events.

    Key responsibilities

    • Assisting with the planning and execution of conferences
    • Conducting research to locate venues, décor, restaurants, activities, and entertainers
    • Serving as a liaison for all assigned conferences between the Conferences and Events team and the Design team to ensure that all deadlines are met
    • Coordinating administrative aspects of conferences and other events, including entering data and maintaining databases, coordinating mailings, and so forth
    • Proofreading transportation manifests, hotel rooming lists, and conference collateral
    • Mastering our internal conference software, Cvent
    • Organizing internal meetings pre- and post-conference
    • Proactively taking on additional department process/marketing/organizational/training initiatives

    Core strengths 

    • Very personable, flexible, organized, detail oriented, and able to juggle a variety of important duties in an extremely fast-paced environment
    • 1–3 years' experience in a coordinator role/planning and executing events
    • Desire to complete meeting management certification or equivalent
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet research preferred
    • Self-starter who generates ideas
    • Ability to remain calm and stay focused under pressure
    • Strong follow-up and time management skills
    • Personable and professional demeanor
    • Great attitude and customer focus
    • Experience with Cvent a plus
    • Ability to travel up to 15 percent of your time
