  • Overview

We are looking for an administrative professional—someone who is highly organized and energetic, who thrives on delivering indispensable service—to join Commonwealth’s five-person Office of the Chairman. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to work with the founder’s office and provide broad support to the firm as a whole.

This role focuses on the dual needs of:

    1. Supporting the management of the Sunday River Club, a tenured-employee benefit program consisting of a suite of vacation properties and other experiential perks. Activities for the Sunday River Club focus on determining the usage schedule and calendar for eligible employees across 12+ properties (and a variety of events); ensuring employees are aware of key aspects of each property; and handling logistics support, such as ensuring property quality and readiness in conjunction with internal and external property management.
    2. Handling general administrative responsibilities for the Office of the Chairman, including limited calendar management, travel booking, scanning, form completion, and so forth.

The ability to take initiative, set priorities, and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment—always while acting with discretion—is key to your success in this role. If you bring these qualities to the table—and are looking for a career opportunity in a professional, lively, and team-oriented environment—send us your résumé.

    • Overseeing logistics of the various properties and events that comprise the Sunday River Club
    • Determining usage schedules, cleanings, repairs, and other support across properties
    • Working closely and communicating frequently with internal and external property management counterparts across all properties

Administrative support to the Office of the Chairman:

    • Supporting two (or more) Outlook calendars
    • Providing frequent updates to executives with regular travel schedules
    • Handling a variety of travel bookings
    • Managing and submitting expenses
    • Coordinating, researching, and overseeing special projects, as needed
    • Executing other general administrative activities (sorting mail, scanning, organizing SharePoint, changing addresses, etc.)

    Core Strengths

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
    • 3+ years of work experience in administration in a fast-paced environment
    • Proven and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Ability to adapt to multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively execute in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong attention to detail
    • Comfortable interacting and communicating with staff at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Personable and friendly; enjoys working with people on a daily basis and frequently interacting with others
