    Key responsibilities 

    • Identifying and developing partnerships with outside speakers, experts, and other resources for diversity and inclusion program delivery
    • Keeping abreast of best practices and current trends in diversity, inclusion, and belonging to inform program development
    • Serving as a resource, collaborator, and advisor to firm management and staff, as well as with employee resource groups and affinity groups
    • Managing the meetings with the diversity and inclusion committee
    • Collaborating with Human Resources on all aspects of HR functions to enhance and integrate diversity and inclusion into existing business processes and practices, including recruiting, and training.
    • Coordinating with the marketing communications team on external and internal communications regarding diversity and inclusion
    • Benchmarking Commonwealth’s efforts and progress in diversity and inclusion leadership against best-in-class organizations
    • Develop and monitor the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion

    Core strengths 

    • At least 5 years diversity and inclusion experience or a related role
    • A track record of influencing and partnering across an organization to drive projects against competing priorities
    • Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and flexibility
    • Demonstrated ability to drive impact through cross-organizational initiatives
    • Proven ability to make an impact and to collaborate with others
    • Solid interpersonal and communication skills to build and sustain positive relationships at all levels
    • Organizational skills with proven program management capabilities; ability to work on multiple key projects at a time
    • A strategic thinker with a thoughtful approach to decision making in a fast-moving environment
    • A passion for maintaining and further cultivating high-touch, high-culture workplaces
