As our relationship manager, you will be the point of contact for holistic advisor marketing needs. You will be working with Commonwealth’s financial advisors, who are the nicest and among the most successful in the industry.


    Reporting to the manager of advisor marketing, this job requires strategic thinking, knowledge of digital (website, email, and social media) marketing best practices, and strong project management and communication skills.


    Key responsibilities

    • Thinking strategically, with the ability to offer marketing solutions to the business problem that need to be solved
    • Understanding financial advisors’ businesses and points of differentiation
    • Managing projects from strategy to execution, including understanding objectives, consumer needs, overall scope, and meeting timelines
    • Executing marketing campaigns based on marketing objectives and goals
    • Facilitating the coordination of different teams and clients to deliver streamlined marketing solutions for advisors
    • Using data to support initiatives


    Core strengths

    • Best practice marketing consulting on digital marketing, client events, and marketing collateral
    • Experience consulting on website strategy and general website design best practices
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Strategic thinker; adept in articulating benefits and differentiators
    • Cross-functional collaborator; ability to contribute in a team environment
    • Ability to work across multiple concurrent projects
    • A high-energy business partner with a positive attitude
    • Superior attention to detail


    Additional skills and knowledge

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
    • 5 years of experience in marketing strategy and marketing communications
    • Experience in client account management and project management with a creative agency (in-house or external agency)
    • Commitment to providing indispensable customer service
