First impressions are key, and the New Accounts department is where it all begins for our advisors and their clients. We are looking for a candidate with these qualities—and more—to be a member of our exciting team.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Providing quality assurance for retirement and non-retirement new account applications, as well as advisory fee-based contracts, to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • Establishing brokerage accounts via paper, upload, or fax for both existing and transitioning advisors
    • Managing and troubleshooting issues that arise with a client’s checkwriting and/or debit card accounts
    • Processing a variety of account maintenance functions, such as dividend coding, beneficiary changes, power of attorney additions, and consolidated statement requests
    • Acting as a lifeline for our Service Center, handling some of the more difficult questions from advisors
    • Running numerous internal departmental audits to help reduce risk to Commonwealth
    • Working on various special projects that arise
