This person will create holistic learning experiences and journeys designed to help both employees and teams fulfill learning outcomes in a user-centered and goal-directed way.


    As a member of our agile Learning and Development team, you will design, develop, and curate learning solutions and resources used by technology professionals to create and maintain full learning experiences. Reporting to the vice president of learning and development, this role will focus on learning experience design, multimedia development, learning environment design, and instructional design.


    Key responsibilities

    • Building knowledge-based and performance-based learning curricula that targets stakeholder needs
    • Designing and developing complex learning solutions aligned with business and learner needs
    • Contributing to development of short- and long-term organizational strategies and initiatives
    • Recommending learning strategies and approaches for assigned projects; determining a preliminary level of effort required for each recommendation
    • Delivering leading-edge solutions
    • Working with team to explore new technologies or be internal lead for a specific technology
    • Monitoring feedback, evaluating impact and effectiveness of solutions, and communicating results and recommendations to business partners
    • Helping to develop executive education, corporate learning and development audience, and linkages to related competency models

    Core strengths

    • Experience designing learning offerings in response to an identified business or learning problem
    • Ability to design learning content while keeping in mind the user experience
    • Demonstrated experience designing rigorous and relevant formative and summative assessments to effectively measure progress and mastery
    • Demonstrated ability to apply instructional design principles, learning theory, and educational technologies in the design and development of online learning experiences
    • Experience working with product teams to create a quality user experience in addition to building learning assets and/or curriculum
    • Experience incorporating multimedia elements (audio, video, and graphics) into blended learning solutions
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience working in a project environment and familiarity with project management tools and techniques
    • Demonstrated focus on continuous self-learning and exploring new trends, strategies, and practices in the learning and development field
    • Experience building, maintaining, and strengthening work relationships
    • Able to work effectively in collaborative environment
    • Ability to self-review and meet rigorous quality standards

    Additional skills and knowledge

    • Master’s degree or ten years of experience in instructional design technologies, adult learning, user experience, or related field developing learning experiences in a corporate environment
    • Proficiency in MS Office products with at least 2–3 additional multimedia and learning technology tools such as iSpring, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Adobe Products, SharePoint, Camtasia, web development, and the like
    • Experience in UX or CX a plus
