    Are you a passionate account manager who enjoys building relationships, managing projects, and developing brands to help tell their story?

     

    The account manager role at Commonwealth is a crucial function within our Marketing department. In this role, you will be on the front lines of advisor communication and marketing needs. You will develop relationships with Commonwealth’s financial advisors, as well as internal stakeholders, and work to empower all parties to make the most of opportunities. Reporting to the advisor brand manager, this role requires strategic oversight, strong client relationship management, and knowledge of digital (website, email, and social media) marketing best practices, along with expert project management and communication skills.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Identifying and serving up solutions to business problems and engaging directly with financial advisors as a strategic planner
    • Building strong, sustainable relationships and teams internally and externally, with the ability to deliver streamlined communications
    • Presenting and writing comprehensive creative briefs that inform and guide the work of creative writers and designers
    • Understanding and articulating digital marketing strategy, reviewing analytics to uncover insights, and using data to support initiatives such as web strategy and design
    • Leading project management from strategy to execution, including understanding objectives, consumer needs, overall scope, and timeline constraints

    Additional skills and knowledge

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
    • 5–7 years of experience in advertising account management, marketing strategy, or marketing communications
