    As an Agile team lead, you will be responsible for the Agile team’s success by ensuring all deliverables are on time, on budget, and on strategy while focusing the team’s efforts on highest business value work. Reporting to the director of marketing operations, you will help internal clients understand their marketing needs, work with the Marketing leadership team to ensure that the Agile team is working on the right work at the right time, facilitate daily standups and other recurring meetings, resolve issues that hinder the team’s work, set and communicate expectations and deadlines for key tasks, manage the review and approval process among stakeholders, and facilitate print and fulfillment work with outside vendors.

     

    Key responsibilities 

    • Working with stakeholders and/or Marketing’s relationship managers to identify context and project needs
    • Evaluating each new request and determining level of effort required by team
    • Facilitating discovery and research sessions to refine the team’s backlog in order to get project requests to meet the team’s definition of ready
    • Scheduling and leading the daily standup and other recurring team meetings
    • Leading team in developing and maintaining schedules for project deliverables; setting expectations with stakeholders based on commitments
    • Using critical thinking skills to resolve conflict when obstacles arise during project life cycle by clearing blind spots and anticipating needs
    • Clearly communicating scope, timing, and or/budget changes to team; developing contingency plans, as needed
    • Working across various departments to ensure that appropriate approvals are received and deadlines are met; including necessary stakeholders at appropriate times throughout the life cycle of projects
    • Providing insights, ideas, and suggested process improvements
    • Choosing appropriate vendors; gathering specs, procuring and reviewing estimates, negotiating on cost and turnaround time, placing orders, coordinating proof approvals, and facilitating delivery of final product
    • Ensuring proper project close-out, archived files, team reflection, and feedback

    Additional skills and knowledge 

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years of experience in an operations role
    • Familiarity with digital and print marketing solutions
    • Familiarity with Agile development philosophy and methodologies is a plus
