Overview

Commonwealth’s Service Center is an elite bicoastal team of talented, driven, and fun people who collaborate to achieve their goals. We are the first point of contact for our financial advisors and their staff, and we are currently recruiting the best and brightest problem-solvers to join our training program: the Service Center Academy.

 

Successful completion of our six- to eight-month Academy training program will set you up for a career in the Service Center. Designed for those who are new to the financial services field, selected Academy candidates will be trained on financial services basics, operational processes and procedures, our indispensable service mantra, and effective communication skills, as well as receive an in-depth exposure to our Anything but Common® culture and community.

 

Upon graduation from the Service Center Academy, you’ll be supporting advisors and their staff with their day-to-day operations, all while encountering a wide array of questions, providing guidance, problem-solving, and building lasting relationships. Every day stands to offer something different!

 

Key responsibilities

  • Serving as the first point of contact for our advisors and their staff (This includes spending 80 percent of your day answering incoming phone calls to identify and resolve issues and inquiries.)
  • Building trusting relationships with our financial advisors and their staff by consistently providing the highest level of customer service
  • Educating callers on a broad range of topics, from account establishment and asset movement inquiries to more complex corporate actions and tax-reporting questions
  • Staying abreast of new resources, products, and procedures, as well as industry news and regulations
  • Collaborating with various internal Operations teams across the firm to research and resolve complicated issues
  • Upholding Commonwealth’s legacy of providing indispensable service—a level of service so satisfying that our advisors would never want to be without us

Additional skills and knowledge

  • FINRA Series 7 securities registration or a willingness to acquire it
