Are you enthusiastic about creative problem-solving driven by data? Are you passionate about measurement strategy, continuous improvement, and making change happen? As a digital analytics and optimization strategist, you will work with other digital team members, developers, and cross-functional Agile marketing teams to interpret and synthesize data-driven experiences. Expect to lead and participate in creating the best possible user experience for our products, from defining and implementing measurement strategies that align with marketing and business objectives, to producing marketing KPI dashboards and delivering performance reports with actionable insights.


Our ideal candidate will have extensive digital marketing knowledge, along with experience in web analytics and strategic management of digital campaigns. 


Key responsibilities 

  • Leading the analytical aspects of developing campaign strategy, including understanding key business metrics and translating goals into optimized user experiences
  • Identifying client objectives and devising appropriate measurement strategies
  • Benchmarking performance across online channels, advising on KPIs, synthesizing results, and applying outcomes
  • Reporting on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends, and providing actionable insights based on available data
  • Analyzing the effect of different online and offline channels on each other, as well as developing and implementing innovative strategies for improvement and growth
  • Analyzing online user behavior, conversion data, customer journeys, funnel analysis, and multichannel attribution
  • Performing ROI analysis to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of different marketing campaigns and influencing conversion optimization strategies with solid analytical data
  • Delivering regular reporting and analysis and presenting findings and test results
  • Working closely with brand strategists, UX/UI designers, and Agile marketing teams to optimize the overall performance of digital products and implement required strategies successfully
  • Solving for user needs and challenges by using data to improve user interfaces
  • Communicating and advocating for best-in-class results, methods, and approaches

Core strengths 

  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for producing client reports and presentations
  • Understanding of the relationship between analytics and user interface design principles
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to lead projects proactively
  • Ability to relay analytical insight to stakeholders at varying levels of analytical and digital knowledge and at all levels of seniority
  • Familiarity with Agile development philosophy and methodologies

 Additional skills and knowledge 

  • 3+ years of experience as a digital marketing analyst or optimization specialist
  • High level of experience in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketing objectives
  • Ability to measure and analyze online marketing campaigns, including website usage, organic and paid search, email, affiliate, display, and social
  • Experience working with analytical software (e.g., Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Coremetrics, Qualtrics, and Excel), Google AdWords and other paid search platforms, and website optimization tools for A/B and multivariate testing (e.g., Google Website Optimizer and Optimizely)
  • Success working within a marketing or business intelligence environment
  • Experience in financial services or insurance a plus
