Overview

Are you an experienced systems engineer with a proven track record of maintaining, implementing, and ensuring exceptional performance and reliability from server infrastructure and core systems? If you are intimately proficient in the architecture and administration of Microsoft Exchange and savvy with a variety of other systems (including Proofpoint Spam Detection solution, and Veritas Enterprise Vault), we want you to join our growing team of engineers and administrators!

 

As a systems engineer, you will work in an environment that values your opinion and prides itself on getting things done. Common sense prevails as we design, build, and support our local and wide-area networks, internet infrastructure, imaging, and phone systems, along with all infrastructure-related hardware and software.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Managing enterprise instances of SEP/DLP while working closely with Information Security on policies
  • Maintaining ownership of Jenkins environment and serving as a point of contact for QA and Scrum teams
  • Managing Active Directory infrastructure, including design and implementation of Group Policy and DNS
  • Collaborating with other departments on Azure and AIP environments with administrative ability as needed
  • Performing SCCM deployment and administration
  • Providing administration and support of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365
  • Producing appropriate documentation for application deployment, configuration, and related processes

Core strengths

  • In-depth knowledge of virtualization, networking, routing, security, and data center operations
  • Experience with Proofpoint email protection
  • Hardware knowledge, including routers, servers, switches, firewalls, SANS, and other security technologies
  • Experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting in a large-scale, multisite environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Additional skills and knowledge

  • 3–4 years of independent working experience
  • Applied knowledge and experience in Jenkins, Azure and AIP, SCCM, Hitachi, and SEP/DLP
  • Familiarity and knowledge in Microsoft Exchange Server
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Teams
  • MCSE, MCSA, and CCNA certifications
  • ITIL/Six Sigma certification preferred
