    Are you an experienced manager who thrives on building and developing a robust team? Are you eager to share your contract and vendor management expertise? As a contract management supervisor, you will support the strategic objectives of Commonwealth’s operational structure by organizing, maintaining, processing, and overseeing the third-party procurement lifecycle from sourcing to offboarding.

     

    Reporting to the vendor management manager, you will be responsible for a team of contract analysts, working closely with third parties and internal relationship owners. You will provide guidance and support while ensuring a smooth and transparent contract process. 

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Generating various types of agreements using existing templates for the purchase of goods and services, including NDAs, MSAs, SLSAs, consulting agreements, and large-scale hospitality agreements
    • Aiding internal vendor relationship owners with contract cost and scope negotiation and review as needed, including risk remediation language
    • Ensuring contractual compliance with applicable regulations and laws (FINRA, SEC, and others)
    • Verifying that agreements have supplier accountability, including performance metrics, SLAs, and certificates of insurance
    • Identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency gains, and additional improvements; recommending and implementing policy and process changes as appropriate
    • Gathering business unit requirements, completing and distributing RFP/RFI requests, evaluating third-party responses, and facilitating service discussions and selections
    • Continually fostering collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers while representing Commonwealth with professionalism and integrity
    • Effectively resolving contract disputes or issues with suppliers in conjunction with our internal relationship owners
    • Assisting with contracts training to help educate others on the benefits of sound, efficient procurement contract practices

    • Positive and energetic team player with strong cross-functional team experience
    • Ability to meet critical deadlines while producing quality output
    • Proficient PC skills, including MS Office products

    Additional skills and knowledge

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 3+ years of contract administration and managerial experience with leading and growing a team
    • Experience with a contract lifecycle management tool is preferred
