Are you a detail-driven and organized payroll professional with a passion for providing top-notch service? As a senior payroll specialist, you will be responsible for running the biweekly payroll while ensuring compliance with company policy and state and federal regulations. As with every position in Human Resources, there will be other projects, opportunities, and assignments, too.


Our Human Resources team members are high-touch, highly involved partners and strategists with all of our business units. Key responsibilities

  • Processing our biweekly payroll for 800+ employees
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information
  • Collecting and validating payroll inputs, bonus payments, additional pay items, and deductions
  • Managing workflow to ensure that all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time
  • Adhering to payroll policies and procedures
  • Responding to and assisting employees with inquiries and questions in a timely manner
  • Owning and completing complex and sensitive projects, as needed
  • Seeking innovative ways to improve payroll processes or procedures
  • Coordinating year-end reporting and issuing annual employee tax documents
  • Handling benefit administration and enrollment

  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits including, but not limited to, FMLA, health insurance, and FSA
  • Sensitive to the importance of maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and laws

Additional skills and knowledge

  • 5+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Advanced-level experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
