Are you a highly skilled, experienced payroll and benefits professional with a passion for delivering superior customer service? Our HR department is seeking a detail-driven and organized payroll and benefits supervisor to oversee and run our payroll process. In this role, you will use your subject-matter expertise to produce the biweekly payroll, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and administering our robust benefits plans.


Our HR team members are high-touch, highly involved partners and strategists with all of our business units. We pride ourselves on our unwavering commitment to delivering indispensable service. You will focus primarily on payroll and benefits, but as with every position in HR, there will be other projects, opportunities, and assignments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Processing biweekly payroll for 900+ employees
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee information
  • Collecting and validating payroll inputs, bonus payments, additional pay items, and deductions
  • Managing workflow to ensure that all payroll and benefit transactions are processed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Adhering to payroll policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that employees are enrolled in benefits in a timely manner
  • Responding to and assisting employees with inquires and questions
  • Owning and completing complex and sensitive projects, as needed
  • Seeking innovative ways to improve payroll processes or procedures
  • Coordinating year-end reporting and issuing annual employee tax documents

Core Strengths 

  • Advanced-level experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations and laws
  • Superior attention to detail
  • High regard for confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • 5+ years payroll and benefits experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
