Overview

Are you an outgoing, helpful, and friendly person with a can-do spirit? Are processes and customer service areas where you shine? Our Office Services team is looking for a new, full-time associate to provide extraordinary office management services and support staff requests. In our day-to-day work, our department manages shipping, oversight of facilities, and maintenance of all support service areas—thereby enabling other Commonwealth departments and our advisors to serve their clients in the best way possible.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Processing outgoing mail and UPS packages
  • Sorting and delivering incoming mail and overnight packages
  • Maintaining the appearance of common areas, kitchens, and conference rooms
  • Filling in for the receptionist—covering lunch breaks, morning and afternoon breaks, and vacations
  • Receiving and processing shipments and maintaining inventory
  • Stocking the kitchens and supply rooms
  • Helping plan, coordinate, set up, and break down employee and visitor events
  • Prepping office spaces for new employees and employee visits
  • Responding to employee requests
  • Working with building management to ensure that all service requests are fulfilled
  • Cleaning out refrigerators and microwaves on a biweekly basis

Additional Skills and Knowledge 

  • Valid driver’s license and working vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Can bend, reach and climb; carry, pull, or push objects as needed
  • 1-2 years of experience is a plus

Please note: This is a full-time position, working 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on Friday.
