Our Wealth Management department is seeking a confident candidate who understands the broad spectrum of investment and planning-related products and services. We are looking for someone who prides themselves on delivering indispensable service to colleagues and advisors alike, whether in writing, on the phone, or face to face.


As a platform development consultant on the Wealth Management team, you will work with colleagues across the firm on new and existing products, platforms, strategies, projects, and collateral material, all designed to align with Commonwealth’s mission and to enhance the advisor-client experience.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Working closely with the various Wealth Management teams to facilitate, collaborate, and coordinate the process for new and existing products, platforms, strategies, and collateral material
  • Coordinating the ongoing development and positioning of Wealth Management resources, such as the advisor-facing intranet and related marketing materials.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders throughout a project’s life cycle while actively identifying improvement opportunities, such as streamlining processes, enhancing consistency among deliverables, and strategically tailoring messaging for the target audience
  • Writing and creating materials for projects, topics, and new initiatives that are of interest to our advisors and internal stakeholders
  • Quarterbacking the forms process for Wealth Management–related initiatives to ensure that they convey a consistent message, are compliant, and accommodate all affiliation types
  • Conducting periodic quality assurance audits on all Wealth Management forms

  • Team player; ability to communicate and excel in a collaborative environment
  • An understanding of the broad spectrum of investment-related products and services, including advisory platforms, asset allocation, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and separate accounts
  • Strong writing, verbal and time management skills

Additional Skills and Knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations within six months of hire
  • Two years of financial services experience—or one year of Commonwealth experience
