We’re looking for a system engineer to join our ranks. This position requires an experienced candidate with a proven track record of maintaining, implementing, and ensuring exceptional performance and reliability for server infrastructure and core systems. If you’re proficient in the management, administration, and support of Microsoft servers, server virtualization, and a variety of other systems, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, oversee, and support on-premise and cloud infrastructure for Microsoft Windows servers, Windows Active Directory (including GPOs), Office 365, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure cloud and VDI, storage systems, and VMware vSphere.
  • Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain servers (physical and virtual).
  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other departments and provide post-project escalated technical support.
  • Solve problems related to installation, implementation, maintenance, and operations of hardware and software components.
  • Track client issues by updating and closing tickets.
  • Document the build, deployment, and continuing operations of servers and related system applications and processes.

Core Strengths and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience as a systems administrator, junior systems engineer, or equivalent role supporting Windows server in both physical and virtualized environments
  • 5+ years’ in-depth experience with server infrastructure and Microsoft Windows Architecture in a multisite environment
  • Scripting skills with PowerShell required; other scripting shells a plus
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., OSI network layers, TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of server management in large corporate environments, including security, security policy compliance, and exception or change processes
  • Knowledge of underlying supporting technologies, including IIS, DHCP/DNS, endpoint protection, systems management, optimization tuning, and high-availability configurations (e.g., Microsoft Clustering, Load Balancing)
