We’re looking for a platform manager to join our ranks. The platform manager will join our expanding and innovative advisor digital solutions team to help drive the success of our technology platform. This individual will act as primary liaison between our internal product and service teams and our technology partners to coordinate, facilitate, and execute the successful delivery of vendor program enhancements to align with our technology roadmap. They will collaborate with key internal subject matter experts and platform analysts and take a project management role ensuring timely and efficient flow of work from inception to completion. They will also passionately advocate for our advisor community and look for opportunities to influence and promote our technology needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and cultivate strong relationships with our technology partners
  • Work closely with our technology partner implementation leads to deliver product enhancements and ensure reporting and accountability on project activities
  • Collaborate with the vendor platform manager to ensure team policies and processes are aligned with the established organizational standards; Continually develop and refine vendor engagement standards
  • Establish and facilitate optimal levels of communication between internal business stakeholders, including change management, L&D, InfoSec, QA, and platform analysts
  • Report on project activities via Jira and building out metrics to track project and platform execution success; Achieve project milestones established via the vendor engagement model
  • Work closely with internal subject matter experts and platform analysts to track and manage project activities for product enhancements and prioritization
  • Proactively communicate project level status, issues, and risks to appropriate stakeholders
  • Conduct periodic status meetings with internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Recommend and/or lead new process improvements when needed

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong problem-solving, issue resolution and project or program coordination
  • Bachelor’s Degree related to Information Technology or Project Management field of study
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes and projects
  • Experience with financial services or similar industry
  • Knowledge of incident and program tracking software like Jira and ServiceNow a plus
