We’re looking for a master data management (MDM) data architect to join our ranks. The right candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing MDM strategies and solutions to maintain high-quality, consistent, and reliable master data across the organization. They work closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and data governance teams to ensure that data is properly managed and used effectively to support business processes and decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design MDM solutions: Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements and design MDM solutions
  • Data modeling: Creating data models and data dictionaries for master data entities, ensuring that data attributes are clearly defined, standardized, and documented
  • Reltio configuration: Configuring and customizing the Reltio platform to meet specific business needs, including data models, data hierarchies, match and merge rules, and data workflows
  • Data governance: Establishing data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Data integration: Defining data integration processes to synchronize master data across various systems, applications, and databases, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
  • Data quality management: Implementing data quality checks, validation rules, and data profiling techniques to identify and rectify data quality issues.
  • Metadata management: Managing metadata repositories to document data lineage, data ownership, and data usage
  • Performance optimization: Optimizing the performance and scalability of MDM solutions on the Reltio platform
  • Training and support: Providing training and support to end-users, data stewards, and administrators on effectively using the Reltio platform
  • Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of MDM solution architecture, Reltio platform configurations, and data governance processes

Core Strengths and Skills 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions with a focus on the Reltio platform
  • Strong knowledge of Reltio platform features and capabilities
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data integration, and data quality management concepts
  • Understanding of data governance principles and practices
  • Project management experience a plus
