We’re looking for a senior API developer to join our ranks. As a Senior API developer, you will be responsible for data integration, data collection as well as establishing Data and API integration architecture standards and integrating to lake house architecture to support our Commonwealth business solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and supporting the integration of SaaS applications such as Salesforce and ServiceNow
  • Processing, moving, transforming and integrating data to help generate insights and provide advanced analytics across Commonwealth business groups
  • Interfacing with business-aligned IT teams to design, build, and launch efficient and reliable API and data pipelines
  • Moving and transforming data (both large and small amounts)
  • Meeting with application teams to understand requirements and recommend high-level direction and approach to upcoming projects
  • Ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the production environments
  • System troubleshooting and problem solving

Core Strengths and Skills

  • 7+ years’ experience in Data, ETL, and real-time integration with APIs using various integration tools (MuleSoft preferred)
  • Strong Experience with of data modeling, data warehousing, data integration tools
  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud, and associate components and functions
  • Knowledge of integrating with Salesforce using APIs and ETL
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases, noSQL and graph databases
  • Knowledge of BI Tools like PowerBI, Tableau etc.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients
  • Extensive Experience with API integration using MuleSoft and building AWS and Azure based applications and development frameworks is highly desired.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Mule RTF is required.
