We’re looking for a business development associate consultant to join our ranks. Our successful, driven, and fun Business Development team is looking to bring on a business development associate consultant to help us initiate and foster relationships with prospective financial advisors in our target market. You will work with business development consultants and team members in other departments to support home office visits, reach out to leads, and onboard new advisors with our signature indispensable service.

Our goal of 100-percent satisfaction for our advisors means that everyone in our home office is driven to do whatever it takes to help them be their best every day.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Proactively researching and evaluating prospective advisors, providing information about the firm and evaluating fit when reaching out
  • Assisting business development consultants and team members in other departments with tasks related to streamlining the onboarding experience for new advisors
  • Responding to inbound inquiries and requests for proposal alongside a business development consultant
  • Maintaining the CRM database to support the sales process and report on each marketing campaign  
  • Preparing the logistics for home office visits (booking presenters, securing rooms, preparing visit materials, and developing advisor profiles)  
  • Managing and leading departmental projects, as needed  

 Core Strengths and Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in the financial services field with RIA or broker/dealer experience
  • Self-starter who is motivated to fill the team’s pipeline with quality prospective advisors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening and probing skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to excel in a team environment
  • FINRA Series 7 securities registration preferred
  • Experience with CRM software
