We’re looking for an operations priority specialist to join our ranks in greater Cincinnati, Ohio! Our main objective is to help Commonwealth’s Operations teams meet and exceed their own high standards by seamlessly moving between operations departments whenever there is a volume spike or staffing shortage—sometimes daily. Versatility is a must.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Learning the daily processes of and maintaining positive relationships with our New Accounts, Cashiering, General Investigations, Transfer of Assets, and Retirement Operations teams
  • Rotating in and out of departments, depending on the current business needs of each area
  • Working in different environments and building relationships with the departments we support
  • Increasing your own visibility within the firm while building a well-rounded background in financial services operations
  • Helping our bi-coastal team to succeed in consistently providing indispensable service to our advisors, field staff, and coworkers
  • Providing constructive ideas for process improvements and consulting on projects and initiatives around the firm

 Core Strengths and Skills 

  • 1–2 years’ experience in the brokerage industry
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and able to manage multiple tasks and change gears quickly
  • A drive to gain operations knowledge and visibility to advance your career
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer service mentality and eagerness to help
  • Proven ability to solve problems and think creatively
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • A quick and versatile learner
