We’re looking for a compensation associate to join our ranks As a compensation associate you will collaborate with the Business Transition Task Force (BTTF) team and other departments to assist in the movement of revenue for all business transitions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional service and a great experience for our advisors.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Reviewing and updating business transition databases for current and future transitions
  • Participating in biweekly meetings with the BTTF team
  • Collaborating with the Business Transition Operations team to effectively drive data collection and account movement
  • Providing timely and accurate summary notes to advisors through the Business Transition Operations team case manager
  • Monitoring and auditing bimonthly revenue payments to advisors for equity, insurance, and advisory compensation
  • Gathering input for legal agreements pertaining to business transitions
  • Establishing earnout IDs to facilitate payments
  • Maintaining oversight of all active business transition arrangements
  • Performing special projects and tasks as needed

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook); adept at quickly learning other Windows-based software
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Expert-level attention to detail
  • Promptly responds to last-minute issues and successfully manages high stress situations
  • Manages recurrent duties and inquiries with dedication and accuracy
  • Looks for opportunities to improve processes with a passion for quality assurance

  • Empathetic and responsible

Additional Skills and Knowledge

  • College degree or equivalent professional experience is a must
  • At least 1-2 years of customer service experience is preferred
  • Prior experience working with financial advisors or in an advisor firm is a plus
