Are you passionate about marketing products and technology? Do you thrive at the intersection of strategy, execution, and cross-functional leadership? We are seeking a senior manager, product development and platforms, to continue the evolution of our Brand Studio platform and advisor marketing offerings. This role supports advisor organic growth by delivering scalable, innovative, and user-centric marketing solutions.

 

Brand Studio is a centralized portal that provides Commonwealth financial advisors with strategic marketing resources and services. As the platform’s owner, you will lead its roadmap, manage a team, collaborate with cross-functional colleagues, and ensure seamless integration with third-party tools and internal systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Product

  • Defining and evolving the product goals in alignment with enterprise and product marketing strategies
  • Leading and maintaining the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and presenting performance reports to leadership
  • Driving planning, ideation, and business case development for new platform capabilities and integrations
  • Using competitive analysis and oversee the research roadmap to inform product innovation
  • Managing vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring alignment with platform strategy and operational needs
  • Operational Execution & Platform Management
  • Managing the process and execution of day-to-day delivery of product enhancements, maintenance, content, and vendor operations
  • Collaborating with technology, PMO, compliance, and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely development and release of platform features

Team

  • Leading and mentoring a cross-functional team including product support, content project management, UX/UI, and design resources
  • Assessing training needs and develop personalized development plans for team members
  • Contributing to performance reviews and talent development in collaboration with Brand Studio and advisor organic growth leadership

Core Strengths and Skills

  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and product development initiatives
  • Strong strategic, critical thinking, analytical skills, and conceptual abilities
  • Experience working with and evolving structured processes and procedures
  • Agile creative development and resource management
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and successful product launches
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or marketing product development.
  • Demonstrated success leading a team and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, senior leadership, and enterprise stakeholders to drive results
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms, content strategy, and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Workfront, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Thrives on innovation and change
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus.
