We’re looking for a manager, technology delivery to join our ranks. Commonwealth Financial Network is seeking a Technology Delivery manager to lead our Technology Services team in successful delivery of the firm’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) technology products, including network as a service, cloud-hosted voice platforms, conference room designs, and others. This role is responsible for managing a small technical team, refining operational processes, and ensuring high-quality execution of services. As a Technology Delivery manager, you’ll work to improve the company’s technological product offerings through consistent, reliable delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and own delivery workflows, deployment templates, and standard operating procedures for implementation of MSP products such as networking as a service and VOIP calling
  • Oversee planning and execution of service delivery projects, ensuring timelines, resources, and dependencies are clearly managed
  • Act as the escalation point-of-contact for customers during active projects
  • Manage a small team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and ensuring task alignment
  • Provide advisory services to customers on best practices and preferred hardware purchases
  • Curate the firm’s list of hardware recommendations
  • Assign and oversee migrations of customer data to cloud systems
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers during project delivery phases, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction
  • Own relationships with external vendors (e.g., ISPs or hardware providers), as needed, for successful service delivery
  • Participate in and lead after-hours implementations, when necessary, particularly for porting and service cutovers

Core Strengths and Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Managed Services or IT Solutions Provider environment
  • Proven experience delivering Networking as a Service using Meraki or similar platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Calling setup and administration
  • Familiarity with porting numbers between carriers
  • Ability to manage and mentor small technical teams
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Willingness to work outside standard business hours when required
  • Ability to document and improve operational processes effectively
