The ideal candidate will be a professional who is willing to play a pivotal role in supporting the shaping of our central product management function, product analytics and insights practices, and processes.  We’re also looking for someone with a strong background in finance and/or data analytics, an understanding of strategic business and product processes, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive product excellence through financial and product performance data. This role will report to the VP, product management.   The Product Lab is a central hub and center of excellence that offers consultation and hands-on support for the management and development of our entire product mix and delivering on their roadmaps. Collaborating closely with different product portfolios within the organization, the Product Lab plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation and excellence while sharing best product practices. The lab also incubates large product initiatives and directly manages enterprise-level products. This broad level of engagement not only offers significant opportunities for professional growth, but also ensures wide-ranging visibility across the organization.   Key Responsibilities - Developing the overall product-level data analytics and insights strategy by closely partnering with the enterprise data and analytics team, IT, and other stakeholders - Working closely with product managers and their portfolio leaders to help establish metrics and KPIs that align with enterprise objectives - Strategizing and providing hands-on support to product managers who own P&L responsibilities across Commonwealth to develop their financial operating models for their products - Engaging with design, engineering, and research teams for integrated product decision-making and developing confidence in the viability of Commonwealth’s offerings - Setting up standards across Commonwealth to measure product performance and develop product analytics best practices - Managing and mentoring product data analysts who will work with different products to develop dashboards at the product and portfolio levels - Translating analysis and insights into meaningful content to deliver to stakeholders - Driving a culture of informed, value-added, data-driven decision-making that improves business precision, throughput, and performance through the utilization of state-of-art analytical methodologies and approaches - Providing strategic thought leadership by bringing product data best practices to Commonwealth to improve financial and product performance - Supporting enterprise initiatives and products as a key enterprise function Core Strengths and Skills - Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial/product data and analytics; MBA highly preferred - Strong business acumen with exceptional numerical and analytical skills; Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver clear executive-level presentations - Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a passion for supporting and developing product data analysts - Proficiency in data analysis tools and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a knack for building strong relationships with stakeholders and leaders - A keen analytical mind with the ability to make well-informed decisions based on data and insights - A track record of taking complex business questions and translating them into data-driven insights that drive possible commercial impact   - Prior experience in developing and implementing data strategies is highly preferred - Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices, including technology and tools that can support the function This role will be crucial in ensuring we deliver on the enabling product methodology across Commonwealth, are aligned with our business transformation objectives, deliver maximum value to our internal stakeholders, and in turn advisors, through product excellence.   Have we piqued your curiosity? In this role, you will be responsible for powering Commonwealth’s mission of migrating applications and workloads to Public Cloud. Your primary task will include designing, implementing, and managing AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure code build pipelines. You will report to the cloud lead and contribute to all cloud-related projects. As a cloud security engineer on the Security Architecture & Engineering team, you will be responsible for securing cloud workloads by implementing security controls that reduce threat surface, ensuring compliance, and responding to security incidents to protect an organization's cloud-based systems and data.   Key Responsibilities  - Deploy various security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls to protect data and resources in the cloud - Ensure that the cloud architectures are designed with recommended security practices and standards following the principles of Cloud Adoption Framework.
